Our on-site programs are now a part of The Back to Bach Project, Students for the Arts!
We are so excited to announce that our live, on-site events section is now a part of The Back to Bach Project, Students for the Arts! This amazing, non-profit international, organization loved our program so much that they asked us to launch the Dance Project for Back to Bach! Our events were such a success that we were asked to permanently merge with Back to Bach for the live events part of our program. Please see our Back to Bach page here! https://www.backtobachproject.org/back-to-bach-connecticut-southern
Our program is lead by pre-professional ballet students who are serious about studying dance. Live musical accompaniment is provided by equally talented and accomplished music students.
Age appropriate games will teach kids through active participation:
Simple Ballet terms
Essentials of a ballet class: stretch, strengthen, balance, aerobics, etiquette, and mime
Ballet Lunchbox: What dancers eat to stay healthy
Show and tell: Pointe shoes, costumes
Ballet Brain: How to stay positive while working hard
The "Back to BACH" Project is a global initiative to inspire music and arts education to young children, and to teach them the value of hard work and passion. They launched in October 2014, in Northern New Jersey and have expanded throughout the United States, Canada and Taiwan.
