Marinated Kale and 10-Spice Roasted Chickpeas

The Kale Salad and Roasted Chickpeas from Nutty Crusted Butternut Squash Bowl recipe, are in my lunchbox today, along with some carrot sticks.

    I used a cuisinart mini-blender to blend the garlic and ingredients.

  • How hard was it?

    It took me about 10 min to get together the 10-Spice Mix and the marinade for the kale.

  • Secret time saver?
    My mom washed and dried the kale and chickpeas for me.

  • Taste?

    5 out of 5 YUMS!

  • Why didn’t I pack the squash for lunch?

    Well it tasted good but I thought it might get slimy sitting in the box for a few hours. My least favorite food textures is slimy. What’s yours?
